“A basic 3 star with good rooms and excellent service. At first glance the rooms may not look like much, but beds are comfortable, rooms sufficiently large and very quiet. No AC but this is indicated at booking stage and a fan is provided upon request, and this is more than enough. This is our second experience at de la Gare and there is absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel for its class. On a side note, the carpets look dodgy but you quickly realise it is just a pattern and they are actually very clean. Over all a solid 5 star rating to this hotel”
“Pleasant small hotel across the road from the railway station. Friendly staff - especially good give my lack of French language, clean room and nice restaurant, though the menu was very basic. Was advised that there was secure parking for my motorbike but not correct.”
